Terms and Conditions:

• 1 Membership of the Society:
  • 1.1 Categories: There shall be only one class of membership of the society, namely ordinary members.
  • 1.2 Eligibility:
    • 1.2.1 No one shall be eligible for membership of the society unless he has been a student of the school for a minimum aggregate period of one year.
    • 1.2.2 Subject to Rule 4.2.1 above, an applicant may be admitted as a member of the society on application in the prescribed form and upon payment or exemption of the requisite subscription.
  • 1.3 Voting Right and Membership Subscriptions:
    • 1.3.1 All the members shall constitute the general body and each member shall have one vote except those members exempted from paying subscription fees and shall be entitled to exercise their voting rights at meetings of the General Body.
    • 1.3.2 The following shall be the membership fee for each member:

      Life Membership	Rs. Nil	INR 5,000/-(SAARC Residents) USD 100/-(Non-SAARC Residents)

    • 1.3.3 Notwithstanding the preceding Rule, the Governing Body may revise, upwards or downwards, the subscription amounts for any or all categories of membership including exempt.
    • 1.3.4 Subject to these Rules and Regulations in general and rule 4.3.1 above in particular, a member shall be entitled or subjected to all rights, privileges and obligations explicitly or implicitly attached to the membership of the Society, including the rights to seek office subject to rules 4.3.5 and 5.1 below and the right to vote at the General Body, and such obligations shall include regular attendance, prompt payment of dues, participation in society activities and upholding of the traditions, value and principal of the school and the Society.
    • 1.3.5 The exempted members shall not be entitled to vote nor hold any office in the Society. Their membership shall be for one year unless extended further by Governing Body.
