Dear Goats.

In this very critical phase when the nation is unitedly fighting the corona menace a thought crossed my mind. Why don't we "as Goethalites" do our little bit and contribute in the war against this pandemic. I am sure all of us must be doing our bit in whatever way we can. But can we as Goethalites commonly bound by the inspiring motto "Omnia Bene Facere" do or at least attempt to do something in unison.

I propose that we all contribute a little sum each and thereafter purchase quality PPEs, Masks and gloves and donate the same to the Kurseong Hospital as well as to Kurseong Police who are at the forefront of the fight against Covid19 Kurseong is the hill station where we spent a considerable period of our wonder years and this aid would be a fitting tribute from us to our alma mater

These funds will be used to purchase PPEs, Masks and gloves and donate the same to the Kurseong Hospital as well as to Kurseong Police who are at the forefront of the fight against Covid19

These funds will also be used to provide some protective equipment to the school.

Points to note:

1) The decision to raise fund of about INR 5,00,000/- was taken on 10/04/2020

2) Money receipt will be issued once the lockdown phase is over and admin office functional.

3) Through email one will get an auto generated acknowledgement with your details.

4) The money receipt issued will be the actual amount (rounded off to the nearest INR) credited to GMS ALUMNI bank account. The amount will be less by 2% to 4% which would be the charges of the payment gateway Razorpay.
